Explanation:

* The kicker average is the average of all kicker grades (1 is best,
6 is worst) a player gets during the season. „kicker“ is the most
respected football/sports magazine in Germany and the grades are
given by their reporters.

* The ran database ranking is compiled from goals, assists, shots on
target, won 1-on-1’s, etc. on the positive side and capital blunders,
own goals, blown penalty kicks, red cards, etc. on the negative side.
It is compiled by a team of 4 reporters at every game who take note
of virtually everything that happens on the pitch. Puts emphasis on
workrate.

* Offensive production consists of goals and assists.
